Crystal Guzniczak (formerly Taibi) is a nationally-ranked powerlifter in the Women’s Raw with Wraps 181lb weight class, freelance graphic designer & marketer, strength coach, and former owner and designer for Iron Alliance.

Her mission is to help and touch as many people’s lives as she can through powerlifting, women’s strength training, design and marketing, and her own personal life experiences.

Crystal grew up in Carnegie, PA – outside of Pittsburgh, but moved to Weirton, WV right before high school. She graduated from Pittsburgh Technical Institute with an associate degree in Graphic Design. Crystal also attained her bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from West Liberty University. She has over accumulated over 15 years of work experience in various marketing industries which includes an advertising agency (Weaver Media Group), a B2B distribution company (Davis Distribution Systems), a Fortune 500 manufacturing plant (Ball Corporation), and a radio station (Priority Communications).

Crystal has been lifting weights for over 16 years. She started Crossfit training in 2012 and did her first Crossfit Open in 2013. She learned about Powerlifting through Crossfit and other powerlifters at her local gym. She was talked into doing her first competition on October 12, 2013 and was completely hooked after that.

She competed in the 2016 XPC Finals at the Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio she went 8/9 with personal records across the board (Squat – 350lbs, Bench – 200lbs, Deadlift – 450lbs) to get a 1,000lb total.

She now lives in Steubenville, Ohio with her wife, Sarah, and lots of fur-children.
